A Class 5 licence allow you to operate any two-axle vehicle, a moped or a recreational vehicle. You can also pull a trailer (as long as it doesn’t have air brakes).

In order to upgrade to a Class 5 Licence from a Class 7 Learner’s Licence, you must take a Class 5 Road Test.

You can book your road test online or in our office. Please note: Road Test fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.

For those who prefer not to hold an Alberta Driver's Licence, the Alberta ID card is an excellent option available for up to a five-year term.
